A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

As the principal of Thornton Primary School, I am implementing a systems thinking approach to promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement. My focus is on creating a learning community where all stakeholders are encouraged to engage in self-reflection, share their knowledge and experiences, and collaborate to develop and implement solutions that benefit all. 

I emphasize the core values of the school, such as respect, honesty, and kindness, to create a supportive and inclusive environment. I empower the learners to take ownership of their learning and encourage them to be the best they can be. Through this approach, I aim to foster a lifelong love of learning, promote academic success and personal growth, and prepare our learners for the future.
